Climbing Chirripo: Part 2 - The Scenery

Here are a few photos of the scenery from the hike up to Mount Chirripo:

Me at the summit.
The clouds cleared just before sunrise making way for a clear view to the Atlantic coast.
The sun rose at 5:40am
View from the top of Chirripo looking north-west.
The lake was as flat as a millpond.
The path up to the top was incredibly steep and dangerous in places.
Between the peaks, there was an interesting boggy wetland area.
Base camp Crestones.
Part of the area that had been affected by a forest fire about 50 years ago.
