Another very productive morning for raptors with the immature
Great Black Hawk putting in another appearance at 9am. Two
Double-toothed Kites also flew over; another first for myself. Also present were three
Red-tailed Hawks, a
Barred Hawk, a
Short-tailed Hawk, a
Yellow-headed Caracara and three
Broad-winged Hawks.
Earlier, a flock of about ten
Brown-hooded Parrots flew over.
 |
Double-toothed Kites - note the puffy white feathers at the base of the tail. They almost looked like parakeets as they were flying towards me. |
 |
Emerald Toucanet |
 |
Masked Tityra - this species is becoming more common at Cloudbridge now, having not seen any during November or December. |
 |
Silver-throated Tanager |
 |
Grey-capped Flycatcher |
